We have not seen Patriots DT Vince Wilfork present at the teams voluntary workouts for a few weeks, and we may not be going to see him for some more time.
As it is widely regarded, Wilfork is one of the best DT players. He has been working for the Patriots since 2005 and has started all but three games. As 2009 is the last year in his current contract with the Pats, he has been looking forward to a new contract. He believes that with holding out he will be able to get what he want from the Pats, but before the contract issue is settled, he is unlikely to return to the field. However, according to what he told the Herald, he is hoping to end all of these as soon as possible, so that he can be with his teammates again.

Eagles CB Brown did not appear on voluntary practice
The Eagles CB Sheldon Brown may be not satisfied with his current contract and did not participate in Eagles Tuesday voluntary practice. Eagles coach Andy Reid told reporter "Sheldon is doing what Sheldon thinks he needs to do. I wish he was here." Is that something more important than preparing for coming season?
Eagles president Joe Banner denied in a radio interview that Brown was unhappy with his current contract. But afterwards, Brown expressed publicly he wanted a new contract or trade. The team has confirmed that there is no new contract for all players with four years remaining on their contracts, including Brown.
I guess Brown does not want to lose any opportunity to prove himself in games, so he still takes part in mandatory camp, but he also want to show his unhappiness, ant that is why he did not participate in voluntary team workout.

Cowboys has to worry about its defense
The Cowboys should not be too confident in its solid starters at almost every position. There are solid starters, but not enough.
In wide receiver positions, Roy Williams and Patrick Crayton are the only two elite wrs in the group. All others are in lack of experience or have health problems. The same situation to safety positions. Ken Hamiln was a pro-bowler two years ago, and Sensabaugh is the only one in the group who can match Hamiln's level. Except for the two, others are in lack of training.
The problem is there is really limited time. There is not enough time for a lot of training, and overworking will probably cause more health problems.
So as I say in the title, the Cowboys has to worry about its defense.

Is Tom Coughlin a good coach?
When he was chosen by the Giants at the end of 2003, he was considered as the best one Giants could found at that moment. And he did have tried his best improve the team most.
However his difference with the previous head coach Jim Fassel made the players dislike him. With hostility in the locker room and unwillingness players' unwillingness to adhere to his rules, Tom Coughlin war under great pressure.
But time proves it. Coughlin's insisting on his principles did improve the Giants a lot. The Giants led the NFL in field position in 2004, and have been consistently in the top 10 in this category since.

Packers began talking with Driver's agent about new deal
As recently reported, Packers WR Donald Driver is in hope of a new contact better than now. And this is probably the reason why he did not participate in the OTAs. Driver’s agent, Jordan Woy, told media on Saturdya that the negotiation has already begun.
The agent also explained that Driver did not take part in OTAs because it was voluntary and Driver was training in Texas.
There is still 2 years left on Driver's current deal, which will pay him $3.9 million in 2009 and $4 million in 2010. But Driver still wants more, for that he is now a three-time Pro Bowler.

Fierce competition began in the Bills
Terrence McGee crashed to the turf and got an injury on his right shoulder in Wednesday practice, then he left the field and quit the remaining OTAS.
McGee's leaving did not ease up the competition. Reggie Corner and Ellis Lankster both contributed picks in drills.
Regulars McGee, Leodis McKelvinIt and Ashton Youboty all left the field because of injuries, and some of the non-regular DBs performed rather will in practice. It illustrated that new faces may appear in this game this season.
In the center of the stage are Corner and Lankster. Corner recorded 19 solo tackles and four breakups and Lankster had 68 tackles with three interceptions for the Mountaineers last season. Both are likely to become new stars.

Everything goes well in the Seahawks.
In a recent OTA, the Seahawks' team was seen performing well. Everyone was in their best form, including Hasselbeck who just recovered from his back injury.
Old and young, new and veteran, it seemed that the players has improved their playing alot under the new coaches Jim Quinn. Rookie first-round pick Aaron Curry proved his talent at linebackeer and QB Matt Hasselbeck looked perfectly healthy and was learning new defense.
Every thing seems good enough for this team. We can expect its better season soon.

May Vick be in the 49ers?
On the part of the San Francisco 49ers , no confirmation has been given out. For Vick's former teammates, they consider San Francisco as the best place Vick can go.
Former Falcons QB Michael Vick is now suspended. And medias are guessing if the San Francisco 49ers is interested in him. Any time when was asked, the head coach Mike Singletary just gave ambiguous answer. "I don’t want to say absolutely not, because I’m not there. But I’m certainly not going to say yes. " What we can know from all his statements is that they are discussing about Vick.
May Vick be in the 49ers? We can not say absolutely yes or no. We can just wait for what will be going on.
